They said no because it's been longer than 30 days (it was day 32, but I had sent the unit in for service on day 28). Customer suport said I needed to wait for parts information and should call tech support again. They promised to give me an estimate in 24 to 48 hours.Īfter three days there was no update so I talked with tech support then on-line chatted with customer support. The day they received the unit, they said that the unit needed to be fixed but they didn't have parts so there was no schedule for repair. The large trackpad started having wobbling / random clicks in around one week.Īs per tech support I sent the unit back for Express Repair, which they had promised would take 5-6 days. I purchased a custom configured Dell Inspiron with a beautiful high-resolution 16" display and an i7-11800 8-core, directly from Dell.
